Airports

Glasgow is served by three airports - Glasgow and Glasgow Prestwick to the west, and Edinburgh to the east, all within an hour by public transport of the centre of Glasgow. Direct flights are available from numerous European cities, New Year, Chicago, Washington and Dubai. Alternatively, there are frequent flights from London, Dublin and Amsterdam for connections there. Travel to SEC

The Scottish Event Campus is located just outside Glasgow city centre in the Finnieston area. The venue can be accessed by various transport options. Many hotels are within walking distance of the SEC.

Arriving by air

The Glasgow Airport Express Bus Service 500 runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from the airport to the city centre (a 15-minute journey) at a cost of £8.50 (on app) / £9.00 (on bus) single or £14.00 (on app)/ £14.80 on bus) open return. Taxis are frequently available from the rank outside the Arrivals area and cost approximately £21 -£26 to the SEC.

Arriving by train

The SEC has its own dedicated railway station – Exhibition Centre – allowing easy access to the city centre and suburbs and runs between the hours of 06:20 (from Glasgow Central) and 23:34 (to Glasgow Central) Monday to Saturday and between the hours of 09:04 (from Glasgow Central) and 23:30 (to Glasgow Central) on Sundays. There are six trains an hour (around every 10 minutes) from Exhibition Centre (Journey time 4 minutes) to Glasgow Central station.

From Glasgow Central Station to Exhibition Centre, depart from Platform 17 (low level).

Arriving by bus

The X19 Stagecoach service operates near to the Scottish Event Campus, stopping on Finnieston Street only a few minutes’ walk from the venues. X19 Stagecoach timetable.

Arriving by car

The SEC is situated just off the M8 motorway (Junction 19) and offers plenty of parking. If you are using sat nav, enter the postcode G3 8YW.

The SEC has a multi storey car park (postcode G3 8GS). Tariff rates for the car park can be seen below.
